Internet Explorer 8 is still the final version of Internet Explorer series for Windows XP on 29th February 2012. This browser was developed and published by Microsoft in 19th March 2009. This version has some extra features more than its previous version Internet Explorer 7. Internet Explorer 8 has web slices, accelerators, auto complete changes, automatic tab crash recovery, InPrivate, developer tools, updated favorites bar, smart screen Filter, suggested sites, authenticated feeds, zooming and image scaling, MUI, per-site ActiveX controls etc. InPrivate browsing introduces a cache and history on-off switch which helps you to recognizing tabs automatically. Besides this, Internet Explorer 8 is the first version of IE to pass the Acid2 test and it also scored 20/100 on the Acid3 test. This version released both 32 bit and 64 bit. Internet Explorer is a default web browser of Windows XP, 7, Vista and Microsoft Corporation’s entire product.
